Dr. Jason Grieshober, MD, is a highly accomplished Board-Certified/Fellowship-Trained Sports Medicine and General Orthopaedic Surgeon. Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Grieshober has a stellar academic background. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. There he was honored as the Banner Holder for the College of Science – a testament to his academic excellence.
Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Grieshober attended medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia. While at Temple, he served as the chapter President of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the national medical honor society.
Dr. Grieshober completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at The University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland, renowned worldwide for its expertise in trauma care. During his residency, he served as the Administrative Chief Resident. In this role he gained valuable experience covering high school teams and the University of Maryland Terrapins.
Following residency, Dr. Grieshober pursued additional subspecialty training in Sports Medicine at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles, California. Under the guidance of Dr. Neal ElAttrache, he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries. Dr. Grieshober had the privilege of assisting in the care of various professional teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Sparks, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Anaheim Ducks among others.
With a special interest in sports medicine injuries and disorders of the shoulder and knee, Dr. Grieshober is dedicated to providing personalized care to his patients. His expertise includes treating rotator cuff disorders, shoulder instability, labral injuries, ACL reconstruction, and knee arthroscopy.
